I just placed a order for 5 white frizzles and 3 buff cochins from ideal. Has anyone else ordered this amount and gotten a bunch of packing peanuts? Just worried about getting way to many!

I have heard of people getting none to a ton. I have an order of 11 coming and I hope they don't fill the box too! I don't mind a few extras, but please not 15!

If you really don't want packing peanuts, you can specify that to Ideal; but you'll have to buy shipping insurance. The insurance is very reasonable, not more than 2 or 3 dollars.

They don't send that many packing peanuts. I ordered 10 barred rocks, 9 pullets one roo. I got 12 chicks from them, although one of them did die so I only have 11 now.

They send as many as needed, which in this heat, isn't very many. Good luck, and I hope you don't get too many!

i ordered 25 pullets.an i got 25 chickies.no packing oeanuts.

I just asked for no packing peanuts. My order was for 20 so there were no issues with them being too cold.

I have 15 comming,packing peanuts is ok with me.

You hear that Ideal its ok to put a few extra in my box if you realy need to.....

With only getting 8 I am worried that they will make it 15. Dont get me wrong I am really getting exciting wondering what extras they will send but i really dont have the room. And I am sure I cant get my dh to make another coop! Ha Ha

I've got 11 coming this week, too and I don't care how many extras they add, if any at all.
