I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but, I need some help planning a B-day party :) My aunt has asked me, and is paying me to help plan her daughter's 6th birthday party :) We just started and are already stuck...what theme? We don't want to do the normal birthday party (or what my aunt calls tacky: Luau, Princess, Tea Party etc.) We want to do a completely new, and different party. The B-day girl is open for anything and loves everything so you can give me as many ideas as possible :)

A few things though, the party will be in July, we can't have a theme that involves a swimming pool, or live animals, and the birthday girl said this "Definitely NO BOYS CAN COME" lol so a girly theme :) Thanks everyone!!!

(If this is in the wrong forum, please let me know where it goes!...thanks!)

how about a tutu party...you can make everyone tutus, turn a round table into a tutu, too.... it's pretty easy..

or a fairy party... make head bands wands...wings

pinterest.com, has some great ideas... i saw a pirate party idea, that was great...but, no boys, so that's out!

a dress up party...do their nails and hair... then have them walk down a run way, take lots pics... glam party, same ideas apply here...

One year I did a halloween birthday party about that age for one of my girls it wasnt near halloween .. but every one wore a costume just made it silly .. then we did a contest in teams who could make the best mummy using toilet paper .. and even bobbed for apples .. It was great fun and very cheap !!!

What about a spa party and all that includes. My favorite goody bag for a girly party is nail polish, file, lotion, body spray, scrubber, etc wrapped up in a cute bandana (Walmart has a cute selection for a dollar, I usually use this for "wrapping paper" for all my girl gifts throughout the year)
Cupcake decorating party
Ice cream sundaes party
rent a bouncing house, that is always a hit.

Hope you get more ideas!

what about a gardening party, they can plant some seed in little pots to take home, make potpuri out of some crushed flowers. make daisy chain halo's....
