Idel hatchery Users!I need Help please.

My order in November was 3 Buff Orpington, 1 Barred Rock and 3 ducks. They sent an extra 6 "peanuts" that were Araucanas. I wouldn't worry so much on that and yes you can buy insurance, but I would rather take the free ones than to risk them getting chilled.

If you don't want them, sell them or give them away. You might be surprised what you get though. I always look forward to the extras. It's like a surprise.

Mine are due to ship from Ideal on June 11th, coming to MA. 3 Buff Orps and 1 Black Cochin(6 more Buff Orps for Chickn)
I will post when they arrive. I am going to be offering a friend the extras and bringing any he doesnt want to the NH Chicken Stock

Every time I order from them May or later they do not send peanuts, but I am close to them and I always order a minimum of 15 chicks.

YOu can request that they don't send packing peanuts but they will charge you either way unless you order 25 (1/4 box) thats what happened with me. They didn't send any peanuts! But ya if it says limited availability they do have some available but they go fast so I would call them to see and tell them what you want and ask when the soonest shipment on those items. That's what I did. I would ask for Kibby or Tara...they were the most helpful

on my last order they were suppose to sent me 4 barred rock cockerels but they sent black sex link instead. I had 1 chick die within a week and 2 weeks later another they are now 13 weeks old and are doing fine in the order they did not send any peanuts I ordered 36 chicks and was still charged 1/4 box charge I was told that is manditory for under 100 chicks. oh also 1 of the buff orpingtons had crooked neck that makes 2 of them that I have received from them the order before that one there were 2 chicks dead in the box and 1 with crooked neck so I would tell you (would I buy from them again ? Probably)

Ummm...

Thats hard to say. Depending on what you and others said - whats good and what bad..etc. - you should get the ones that are most famous for doing good! : )
