This is disgusting. I know to crack into a bowl, but it’s the grossest thing aside from a chick/tadpole that had been incubated then kicked out of the nest. This was a freshly gathered egg (it’s been 100 degrees out) and it seemed to be attached to the yolk and huge, about the size of a peanut. It seemed to be meaty and hard. My hens have been very stressed with the heat and a recent and persistent predator assault on their sisters. I’m hoping someone didn’t lose an oviduct. Any suggestions (besides the shaded run and attempts to trap the raccoons) anyone can reccomend? The ladies are about 1.5 years old. Thank you I’m advance!

Unfortunately no, I threw it out. I am not familiar with lash, I need to look that up.
Ok it’s definitely not a lash egg. It was a fully formed egg with a peanut (slightly bigger than a pea) sized, round, meaty looking chickpea thing attached to the yolk. 🤢
