She looks a lot like my Easter Egger pullet.

EE are a cross breed they aren't a breed of chicken
real Amerucanas: have muffs and a beard, slate to black legs, white skin and lay blue eggs plus they are certified colors nothin like gray streaked white and what not

easter egger generally have a pea comb, beard to no beard, green legs, yellow skin
and lay any color egg but most of the time blue. but then agaun the possibilities are endless it really depends on the crosses.

Congratulations! You have a friend! It's fun when they get attached to you, but chickens are also social so... chicken match happens.

There are good articles here on BYC for keeping chickens. They're simple to take care of. It's protecting them from predators and hungry family members that sometimes proves to be the hardest part.
