aggieterpkatie, I've thought I saw some greyhound in there before too! Although the ears could really be so many things...sometimes I think it's just aussie in there making her ears do that.

And RiverOtter is totally right. I once heard some biologist say that if dogs were allowed to run free and breed as they would, it would just take a couple of generations before the whole dog population resembled Benji.

Google 'Carolina dog' and discover what a feral dog will look like after generations of natural selection. An interesting read for dog lovers.

I used to know a Rott/GSD mix who looked a lot like this. But "brown dog" works just fine for me!

I see pit and doberman. She's really cute!

eta: maybe german shepherd instead of doberman? In the profile pic her nose looks like a gsd.

here's my guess, part Shepard, part husky some doberman. and maybe a little greyhound that would be what I think, I have owned a wolf-hybrid and they need good constant discipline lots of exercise they are great dogs as long as you are in charge and they know it, they will bite strangers or at least mine never let anyone on the farm with out our permission.

Not that it is very likely, but Beaucerons have double dew claws. They are marked like a dobermann. So if you want to be special

you could 'make' him a Beauce x husky cross. Due to the fact that the Beauceron is extremely rare, the actuality of such claim is pretty darn unlikely

but it might feel more appealing to you than the 'brown dog' diagnosis (that I would second)
