Hello all! We got our first chickens last year this time and decided on buff Orpingtons! Well one of our girls turned broody and it’s wasnt having it any other way! Since we do t have a rooster a friend gave us some fertilized eggs for her. I was told 6 eggs were from a SLW Roo and6 from and EE. We had 9 out of 12 hatch and unfortunately 2 died very quickly. But the 7 I have left I have struggled with trying to figure out what breeds I ended up with. Can any of you give me an idea of what they are possibly. I was told the hens they have are a salmon flaverolle, calico princess, ISA brown, SLW, olive Egger, sapphire gem, amber link, barred rock, marans. You will see a few speckled Sussex and sapphire splashes that I bought to make sure I have enough pallets moving forward! The chipmunk in the second picture is from this hatch along with the yellows, the blacks/grays and the silver standing in the third picture( Not sure what to call these colors)?? Thanks in advance for any insight you can give!

You are gonna have to wait until they mature. Some mixed breeds breeds are obvious, and others aren't. Also add in some of the hens are already mixed breeds and it complicates it more.
