Identifying keet colors

Pearl Gray is a dominant color gene which only requires the presence of one copy to be present. It is not an underlying recessive color gene which requires the lack of any other color genes to be displayed. It has been proven that Pearl Gray can carry hidden recessive color genes such as blue and buff.

What we know as the no dotting gene which I believe is actually not a gene but simply the lack of either the full dotting gene or the partial dotting gene. He is referring to this as the attenuating gene.

In my opinion,he is glossing over a lot of things. From what I have read, the buff gene is a sex link gene. I have seen no evidence that the Bronze is a sex link gene since the evidence available indicates that Bronze is a variant of Royal Purple. I did not see any mention of the dark shade variance.
And that was the 3rd question. Guinea Farm Bronze : 20210608_123123.jpg
The link I added previously's Royal Purple: 20210608_123215.jpg

I’m also a member of the FB group Guinea Fowl Enthusiasts. One of the admins there is working on a guide (not complete) and has this as her bronze picture. In the screen shot I’ve uploaded, there is no pic yet for “chocolate bronze” but there is a pic for bronze.

What an interesting colpr scheme. I'm guessing there was a RP in the mix, but it sure looks like black..which I think Italy listed as extinct & not reconstituted. (Just add water!).
Lol I abandoned FB yrs ago. Sometimes it's tempting to go back, but so far I'm holding strong.

Looks like Pearl grey on the right. The left? R2elk had a good thought with pinto. PG pinto? I hope you’ll post some pics as they grow!
