Here's a great article about duck voices. Voice is more accurate than any other trait, but 10 weeks is a more reliable guideline.

I'm fairly new to ducks but all my girls I've hatched started quack ing pretty early while the boys kept their baby peep peep sound for another week or so before changing to the smokers cough raspy voice.

I'm new to ducks as well but I definitely hear a distinct difference between my males and females.
