Identifying packing peanuts

I've never mail ordered chicks before so excuse me if this is a dumb question; did they really send 11 male chicks that you didn't pay for exclusively for the purpose of keeping your paid for chicks warm? So like, you got 11 pots of chicken and dumplings for free?

I figure they need a name while they grow so since they are packing peanuts they can be the peanuts gang. Lol

Yes that's what I say and I would be more excited but I just processed 63 birds last weekend to clean out the boys before winter so the freezer is very full. Well we have 4 months to make room hen they will join camp Kenmore too lol. Won't turn down a free chicken dinner.

wow, 63 birds to eat in the next 4 months - that's one every 2 days to clear them out for the next batch in the freezer. How are you going to do it? Chicken feast on Thanksgiving??

We eat a lot of chicken lol. We will eat it for dinner and precook it for salads for lunches. But we don't have to eat all of them only enough to make room. Santa needs to bring me an upright freezer for Christmas.
