If you catch the pred, what will you do with him? In many states it is unlawful to relocate them. If you don't shoot them, they will be back, & will be trap shy afterwards.

With the opossum, we called the game warden which took her because she was a momma and her babies were with her. What they did I have no idea.

You can eat racoon. It tastes like venison. I killed two this week (a juvenile female and a large adult male). YUM!!
