All chicks who are barred get a spot on their head whether male or female. To get a sex linked batch of chicks you need a barred female and a none barred male, all the male chicks will have barring (a head spot) and all the females won’t

I agree. It doesnt work the other way around, because females determine the gender of a chick in the chicken world.
