Identity crisis...

Do my ducks look like a specific breed or just barnyard mutts? I can't seem to find pics of any that look exactly like these two. They are a bit larger than my 2 call ducks, but much smaller than my Swedish pair. I am assuming these two are a pair, simply based on looks?

They look like domestic mallard drakes based on the color change they seem to be going through.

When I saw the coloring on the back feathers, I first thought Mallard also. But we had gotten a little mallard duckling in May that looked like a female and eventually turned out to be a boy, after the feathers grew in. It never had the white ring around the neck that these two have or the white belly/chin or the speckling around the shoulders like on the one. So now I am confused lol.

Or possibly both the same gender? Doesn't matter to me either way, just curious. I bought them for cuteness and cause they were smaller

Here's my 2 gray call ducks for the Mallard color comparison. I'm still waiting to find out if these two are girls or boys also.

They might be snowy calls or mallard mixes.
I agree now that you posted new pic, that one is female.

Grey call and mallard drakes will have the ring around the neck.

They are adorable no matter what they are.

Based on the bill color, I would say one of each gender as well.

I guess I will lean towards them being mallard mixes. Maybe mallard/call mixes, just because they are smaller than the mallard I had was. But a little bit bigger than my call ducks

That would be awesome if I do have a pair of each!
