Identity crisis...

At Wobbles' age I dunno if there'd be a point. Besides, she hates having her butt touched, and wiggles like an inchworm if you try! At 4 1/2 months, wouldn't the drake feather already be prominent by now? Do drake feathers manifest at first molt, or do they not curl until the second, final molt?
One of my guys just got his drake feather in the last few days and the other is still working on his. They are just finishing up their first molt. My guys are pekins which isn't a call and they tend to do things early. They are now almost 4 months. I think you would start to see something but then again she/he could of pulled them out or they are slow coming in. Or you have a girl

I hope she's a girl, I really do! But then why is she so raspy? :/
They get their sex feathers once they start to get their adult plumage in, so it should be anytime. But, not all ducks get them and some lose them, etc.. I would just vent sex but thats just me!

I'm not confident enough to try it, and I certainly don't wanna upset her. She's still a bit hand-shy after her last vet appointment. I mean, he. I mean...Dang it!
