A fence and some very nice BZZZZZ high enough to knock a cow to its knees. They don't like that level of shock. What's the best repellent for them? Nothing I'm assuming.

Oh we did something similar in the beginning. You could cut the end off that tote, do the same with another tote, overlap those ends, punch holes around and ziptie together. That extends your brooder quite a bit.Ok. We keep the house at 70-72 generally. I guess we will have to go look for a bigger container tomorrow! This one is prob 18in deep and 3 feet long by 2 ft wide.
Smart. Super ideaOh we did something similar in the beginning. You could cut the end off that tote, do the same with another tote, overlap those ends, punch holes around and ziptie together. That extends your brooder quite a bit.
Right on! We all start somewhere, you will be fine!!!I think if I can raise children I can handle chickens. We all had to learn at some point. I will take all the advice I can right now.

Come on now, she needs help not judgement. That’s why we are here. You say that now, but plenty of people just dump chickens when it gets too time consuming or the chicks or chickens get sick and die.
Oh wow. That would do it.I don’t like that level of shock either. Grabbed a live wire last summer -_-
