I'd say the silkie in question is a pullet. Are her legs noticeably slimmer than your suspected cockerel?? Plus, although she doesn't have much crest, it's fairly even all the way around. "His" streamers are pretty evident, but I don't see them on "her." My little silkie cockerel, 14 wks, looks a lot like your fella, except mine is partridge. I bought him as a sexed pullet

I noticed his legs being quite a bit thicker than the others by 5 weeks or so, and then came the hairdoo that looked like D. Trump caught in a windstorm, then the wattles popped out big time around 10 weeks...just heard him attempt crowing yesterday.

Well I went out and looked them both over he definitely has the thicker legs of the two, but not by a whole lot... Which kind of makes me wonder if she is a he too (as ChooksChick had originally guessed)!

All three turned out to be roo's... And left for the swap meet!
