If I end up hatching chickens I'm going to have a fit.

When I got my runner duck eggs in the mail I said to myself, "Wow, those are small eggs." But I just shrugged my shoulders and plopped them in the incubator anyway. After candling and seeing little pointy feet kicking off the side of the egg though...

Seriously. If these eggs turn out to be chicken eggs I will have a conniption. So just in case, who wants half a dozen chicks? lol

Lol where are you located i may be intrested

Maybe they're just bantam size??

I was born and raised in Bradenton. Ever been to the Cars and Music of Yesteryear or the Dog Track? I've been in NC for over 11yrs and love it - don't like that FL humidity.

Hmmm... even if they do turn out to be duck eggs, if they are chicken-sized, they really shouldn't be sold like that. It will make for small and potentially less healthy ducks. Unless you *want* bantam runners, of course, in which case it would be totally cool.

Good luck--I'm curious to see how this turns out for you.

It took me a long time to realize my runner duck was laying because her eggs are about the same size and color as my
Ameraucanas. Bet they're ducks.
