If I had one rooster in his own coop and run

how big would the coop need to be and the run space too? Would 4x4 coop and 6x4 run work???

My dilemma is I have too many roosters but I have raised them since babies and I am attached to them. I don't want to kill or get rid of them. I figured I'd build some extra pens so they won't fight. Be still be able to be with the flock, only divided. Do you think this will work????

Yes, your idea would work fine. I have several roos separated into different flocks just next to each other. However, they do fight through the wire and get scratches and cuts on their faces and combs. Some people put dividers up a couple of feet so they can't see each other but then you don't have the "with the flock" effect you're talking about. Mine aren't show birds anyway and they haven't done any serious damage so I don't worry about it. They would be happier, though, if each roo had a couple of hens as companions.
