I don't mind so much tending to the hens 2 times a day in this cold. What I dislike the most about winter is driving and shoveling the long lumpy driveway. I am seriously crabby doing either. If I could just stay home till March I would be good to go!
Since dh is a driver I often look all over the US where he takes loads,and darn it if there isn't a single place that doesn't get some snow or ice!
If the kids ever decide to homeschool again I will seriously try staying home weeks at a time in the winter.
