If I were to breed a sexlink, would the egglaying abilities pass on?

I would like to make very productive EEs, I was hoping to put an ameraucana rooster over my sexlinks. I know that the sexlink trait of the colored sexes will not pass, I'm not worried about that, I purely want the egg laying ability.

Well you can always try and see what happens.

Keep the pullets and then keep track of who lays what.

I'm going to be putting my blue Ameraucana roo over leghorns and my black sex links to see if it works also. I'm praying he has a soft crow!

Also wondering what I'd get if I put a White leghorn roo over my blue Ameraucana pullet.

LOL Yes there is always the try it and see method. I would just hate to go through all that work and feed, if someone already knows what's going to happen.
