If I were to get a turkey.. what would I need to know?

My teacher might hatch a turkey, and if so, I he wants to give it to me, but I am completly clueless about turkies [Don't worry, he wont be hatching for a LONG time!]
The only things I know are.. the boys are called toms, and the boy's gobble. I can tell the difference between a male and female (Kind of..) And yeah. Thanks

They are harder to keep alive than chicks initially. Keep tehm warm and dry and make sure they are eating after the 1st or 2nd day and feed higher protein feed at least the first couple months. Other than that they are easy, very freindly and comical.
