If not Coccidiosis...what could it be??

If you feel her chest/lower neck on the lower, slightly right side, that is where the crop is (image below).
If she's eaten you will be able to feel food in there (the one in the picture below is quite full). In the morning when she hasn't had access to food yet it should be completely empty. If she's not eating well, it may be hard for you to find. But if food is remaining in it overnight and not emptying that would indicate a problem, or if it was very hard, or very large, soft and squishy. It's just another thing to check when you have a sick bird to try to narrow down what may be going on.

Yeah! We just pulled her out to giver her another syringe of solution.

It almost looks like there is something red on the ground in front of her but it is just a paint stain.

She has had a little runny stool but nothing in it. You can kind of see it on the floor behind her.

Coccidiosis does not always show blood in the droppings, sometimes just runny or mucosy. From what I can tell in the pictures, those droppings look like some I have seen in mine with coccidiosis. So hopefully the Corid will do it's job and she'll have some improvement by tomorrow.

Oh good!!!! That makes me think there is some hope that we are on the right track!!! She is just the sweetest and one of my favs so I am just really hoping she can beat this!!

Be sure to check her for lice and mites because many of these sick birds will have them. Check the skin and feathers on her vent, legs, under wings, belly, back, neck, and face.
