I've noticed mine poop more often when they are excited, the good or bad kind of excitement. Happy excitement, poop. Scared? Poop. The rest of the time they poop a lot anyway, the frequency just increases when they are emotional.
I held my rescue goose Lilly for about 40 minutes on my lap in the passenger seat of my car. We bonded very nicely during that time. Otherwise, my thighs and crotch were soaked with goose poop (thank GOD she saw fit not to release one of those super stinky "seven" poops on me). I think she pooped every five minutes for a while, and then calmed down to once every ten minutes on the last stretch. Maybe her crapper was empty by then? Hard to imagine, though, she IS a goose.
