Been up since 4 with puppy diarrhea, Yuck!! And my 16 year old, who I share a room with has bronchitis and coughed and moaned all night. So needless to say I am exhausted. Today will be very mellow as my two older kids will be at their dad's and my youngest and I will be serving the homeless with our church. We will have our big dinner on Saturday. So many, many things to be thankful for and one of them is definitely this site. THANK YOU for all the kindness, generosity and wisdom shared here, you folks are the salt of the earth. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I slept in. As soon as I wake up good I am going to feed my animals and collect my eggs. We got our first rain in over a month plus we will be gone all day so instead of turning the goats out they will get extra feed. I am gonna go to my moms and then to my daughters inlaws. My stepdad is smoking one of my pekin ducks so I will get to see how well I raised it.

I've got it great today. My kid is going with my inlaws to do the TDay rounds. My
wife has to work, but since she works in a hospital will have the chance to bring
a smile or comfort to someone stuck there. Plus it gets her out of the family rounds.

Me, I get to work on the barn, play around here on the forum and just hang out.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You guys are impressive! I'm tired from cleaning my house. We are hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year. I got up and let the poor chickies out and fed them about 8am (Late for them) and went back to bed until 9am. Man, I need to order that auto door! I made Pumpkin Creme Brulee last night, my daughter snapped the green beans and hubby cooked them.
Hubby is busy getting potatoes and turkey ready. I'm sitting here in PJ's waiting for the coffee to kick in so I can get everything else ready. Have a great day!

My family and I are sitting in a motel room after having a nice breakfast. We drove eight hours to be with family. Will be going to my sister in laws with the whole family. Grandpa is still around. We lost Grandma two years back. It just isn't the same.

My girls are at home by themselves, with a friend checking in on them everyday. I miss them. It is very cold in Nebraska right now and hopefully they are doing fine.

Last night we went out to dinner and I brought out my brag book with the girls photos. They all thought I was nuts! I loved it.

I've been up since before 8 and DS slept in until after 9. He's on the Game Machines and I'm here. I've already collected Penny's egg from the couch.
Sorry about the puppy diarrhea and the bronchitis. I got to put out 360 pounds of kitty litter in the fillit yourself station and I swear I breathed in like half a bag of dust....Eyes are crusty, nose runny, wheezing and headaches...figures...
DH is working and won't be home til around 5. So DS and I might make cookies...We're having leftovers from the Tday dinner we had on Saturday so I don't even need to cook.

Good Morning everyone....it is 11 and I am still in my jammies. I have managed to get 2 loads of laundry done. The kids will be here after they do the inlaw thing. Frying a turkey and building a bon fire to have dessert by. Hope you have a blessed day with family and friends..........then it is off for the crazy shopping tomorrow!!!

up at 7.30 went to clemson sc and bought 2 jersey calfs. put them in the barn water and feed. sitting resting awhile befor going to inlaws for lunch. happy thanksgiving..
