We're building our first chicken coop and would like to get started with hens already laying before we try our hand at raising chicks. We're looking to find local suppliers of egg-layers if they're out there. We're on Whidbey Island and are excited to get started.

! Happy you joined our group. I know some people use Craigs List to find hens. I had to look Whidbey Island and found it was in Washington State. Seems like we have lots of folks on BYC from your neck of the woods. You might consider going to the Social Forum and under Where Am I?
