• BO - they will go broody
• 2 production red - they lay eggs
• 2 EE - little color in the egg basket and mine have been good layers

I would have 2 Brahma's, 2 Ameracauna's, 2 Marans. Some of my favorite breeds. Now to ask my family which 6 they would each want to keep.. See loop hole... each person gets to pick 6.... Mwahahahaha.

Buff Orpington (orps are my fave!!)
Lavender Ameraucana
An Olive Egger of some sort
and maybe a Marans, just for more egg variety.

6 Chanteclers. I like all the varieties, but maybe Buff? Chanteclers are beautiful, productive, and hardy. What more could you want?

Honestly, I can't imagine having only 6 chickens. 60 is more my speed, lol.

Well if you change the rules to only 6 per property... I am going to simply have to divide my property into subplots. For every rule... there has to be a loophole.

I love my Barred Rocks & they are excellent layers.
Australorps are incredibly laid back.
I would add a silver laced Wyandotte, a silver Campine, a speckled Sussex, & maybe a lavender cuckoo ameraucana. What I don't like are the redish birds ~ ISAs, RIRs, New Hampshires.

I only have 5 currently but have had 6 breeds so I would just add the one I lost to get 6!
Rhode Island Red, Barred Plymouth Rock, Blue Wyandotte, Golden-Laced Wyandotte, Speckled Sussex, and an Easter Egger.
