I have Welsummers, Spitzhaubens and Orp bantams. A odd bird here and there.

I have an assortment of girls (white leghorns, buttercups, cochins, australorp, rir) with a Jersey Giant Roo and Rir Roo. I also accidently ended up with a flock of Blue Andalusians. Blue roo, 1 splash pullet, 1 black pullet, 2 blue pullets. Since I accidently ended up with a nice "starter flock" I am going to go ahead and keep and breed them. They are "rare" and flashy enough I think I should be able to sell the chicks relatively easily.

I also want to cross the Blue Andalusian Roo over some of the other girls to see what the crosses look like, but that is beside the point of this post

Well, I would strongly consider Orpingtons, but then I figure I'll end up with scads of buffs, which people can buy by the hundreds from a big hatchery, so why would they want to get them from me? We can only eat so many chicken dinners.

Can't really choose I like my Modern Game Bantam Roo really well, and my Polish, my Silkies are very loud I love them but they are definatly not my favorites except Felix and Alice. Sebright hens are sweet but roosters are little stinkers and love to flog you and they are so noisy for being so small!
