If you have a beautiful coop that looks like a little house, post!

It is painted now, and covered in snow - here is a pic from early summer.

That is Lady Gaga, who stuck his head in the photo. Unfortunately he turned out to be a Rooster.

you are too funny :))) We named a chicken Rosie, that turned out to be a rooster too but my son still calls him Rosie, lol

My girls are so popular that they get more mail than I do. The picture shows the coop just after the run was finished. Once the flowers in the window box and the pot under the trellis grew, the house was really pretty. The chickens love living there. They tell me that all the time.

The house has a dutch door and in warm weather the top half is opened and the girls perch on the lower door and watch the world go by. Thank you for the compliments on the coop

Here are my coops, (before AND after pictures) the yellow one is for my guineas, its a renovated 75 year old milkhouse. The green coop is for my chickens, and is a old guard house from the Waupaca Foundry. We moved both of them.

Helenmar, thank you! She's a blue laced red wyandotte that I got from Blue Poultry in Missouri. She's so lovely! And she's only 8 weeks old so I hope she will get lovelier.

Gardenerd, I love the landscaping around the coop. That's my next phase and I can't wait until spring to get started. My coop was finished fall so all I've put is some daylily bulbs. But, I want it too look as green and lush as yours!
