Ok,
here's our egg house with newly put up Christmas lights!
 
I have a very nice chicken coop, but my birds will only go in to use the nesting boxes for laying eggs. Other than that, they refuse to go in and are exposed to the weather and worse predators!!! I've lost 2 so far. I have sprayed for bugs and when the door is shut, predators can't get in. How do I get my birds in the house so they will be safe? Any help and advice will be much appreciated. I love my chickens and worry about them all the time.

Do you have roosting bars in the coop? Put the feed in there also. I've never had a problem with mine, they are usually well in way before dark EVERYNIGHT.
 
Also Irish Luck, if you post this question over on the, Coop & Run - Design, Construction, & Maintenance section, I bet you will get lots of help. Maybe you could also post some pictures of your coop too. It is really cold here in MD now, and my girls spend more time inside their coop than out.
