Hehehe, I love this topic, lol. I just found my first two eggs yesterday morning. My hubby thinks I'm nuts and probably my mother in law but I just had to bring and show them my eggs. I have already told them I need a pretty satin lined basket to go collect my eggs in, lol. They think I'm funny but I'm just so darned excited. Only one is laying that I know of, I think I missed the actually first day it happened and didn't see it. She's been making a racket this morning but no egg yet. I couldn't wait to go out today but nothing yet... What size basket would one think I'll need for 9 chickens when they all start laying? Can't wait to keep out on the counter to show off too. I'm such a dork, lol.

I'm ready to go with my basket, my girls at 17weeks old and nothing yet soo still waiting to use it!! I have been letting them free range all day, but today kept them to their coop/run since we had some storms coming through so I'm hoping tonight I find an egg!!

Hey, my satin lined basket from my wedding is in my attic wrapped in a garbage bag. I just might go get it and use it for my eggs. But it's a BIG basket, so I'll need more chickens.
