Then I got finished, closed the shower curtain real quick and hollered SHAKE!!

My 120 lb baby hates bathes. My trick? A shower with doors (opaque glass). I put a bathing suit on (or not... he's a dog, what does he care?) and get in with him. My husband holds the doors shut from the outside. Once he's in there and doesn't see an out he stands for the shower like a gem.

Now try bathing a 15 pound Maine Coon mix cat with so much 'tude he chases off rottweilers...
and he had to be done frequently

What you do in that case, is first put in shower doors if you don't have them. They you put on an old, but still think pair of jeans and a similar jeans jacket. Heavy cotton garden gloves are recommended but optional. Eye protection is a must. Turn on shower, place open bottle of cat shampoo within the shower. Grasp cat firmly and step inside.

I should have also added that you need to make sure that you have open on the bathroom counter, 1 bottle of iodine, several bandages and a nice fluffy towel. (The fluffy towel is optimistic. It assumes you will lay hands on the cat long enough to dry him/her in the near future.)

I have actually done the above procedure many times and lived to tell the tale.

Yes Deb two peas in a pod

I have a new puppy, she'll only be 12 lbs as an adult, my first little dog.. I couldnt believe how easy it was to bathe her yesterday, just put her in the sink, pulled out the sprayer and a few minutes later she was all clean. She even dried quickly. I'm used to the shower thing with my other dogs and end up with more water in the bathroom than on the dog when they shake dry

Good for you, enjoy him small .... he'll be much bigger soon.
