Well I put my Silkie girls in the play pen with the BW Ameraucana girls so that they are on grass, can eat bugs, and have a fun relaxing day without the unwanted attentions of
Cinnimon the randy Silkie rooster.

Cinnimon is back in the bachlor pen as he trapped on of the BWA girls for forced whoopie yesterday evening. She is only 9 weeks and I was not having it.

Rita and Blueberry enjoyed their stress free afternoon. They are not yet ready for laying an egg much less whoopie so a day without being harrassed was their treat.

LOL, Cash - son of Impy, 3 months old - tried to snag my other silkie Ellie Mae for a little action today. He IS his father's son.

He wasn't turning loose and she wasn't having any part of it. Dang Impy let him do it too, probably cuz Impy's not real wild about his silkie hens.
I forgot the best part about introducing Jethro and her chick Uno to the polish chicks. The look on Uno's face when she came out from under mama and found she suddenly had three siblings. Uno to new chicks: "where the heck did you come from???".
