If you wanted a “pink” layer what breed and why?

Just hoping for your thoughts on which breed and why you would choose if you were coloring your basket.
All replies are appreciated
 
Well, langshans supposedly have pink eggs, but you have to find someone who specifically breeds for that. My Barred rock girls have pinkish eggs sometimes though.

It has to do with how much bloom is on the egg. And the brown pigment gets stuck in it. The thickness of the bloom is genetic, but it's not something people seem to breed for.
 
There are production type Pink layers, but You can't find them un the USA, but the sire is a White Leghorn and dame are RIR type hens

I have a mixed flock and get an assortment of pinkish eggs... barred rock, ligh brahma, rir (not her for sure her eggs are darker) and lavender(4) and black (1) orpingtons, and a few mixed..
