If you won the lottery, what would you do with the $$$ ?

If I won the lottery ................ (that I don't pay

)
First give to the church, shelters, & some charities,
Then I would pay off my current home, buy a bunch of acres and move all my family on it , buy us all new cars, and take a month long vacation and come home and farm

, and periodically take regular vacations .... oh and quit my job.

What would you do?

Pay off all my families mortgages.. Let my father retire.. Buy Mom a new car ( she desperatly wants one ) Set up college funds for my children... And buy a small island were its always 75 degrees and have as many critters as i want... Oh yeah and a boat and private plane to fly back and forth...

$10mil or less i would not tell a anyone.
$10-20mil make sure our parents are taken care of and live off the rest
$20-30mil make sure our parents are taken care of and move (close but not pop over close)
$30-100+mil make sure our parents are taken care of and disappear.

Change everyone's names: mine, kids, dogs, cats, chixs. Pull up stakes, move to a large farm, hire a foreman that looks like and can sing like Lenny Kravitz and build the most elaborate chicken coop.

I would buy the 987 acre ranch down the road and split it with my twin sister. We could build our dream houses and barns. All we would do is raise animals and farm. The good life!

I would pay off our mortgage, along with all my families', buy my husband and I new harleys, set aside enough into savings of some sort to live on and then donate the rest to charity

Then I would just raise my chicks and ride my motorcycle!

I would most likely donate all of it away to things like getting food/water/and meds to people and places that really are in desperate need. I would donate alot of missionary work. I am big on charitable work! I would then buy some more land as far away from civilization as I could possibly get with a river and an abundance of wildlife. I would invest some into making it to the NRHA Futurity for sure!!! Buy lots of cows and I would love to do like that show they had recently (can't think of the name)....where people go out to find worthy people that need money (not letting them know they are really rich) and present them with a big ol check that would make their lives so much better!! That would make me happy to be able to do for sure.

Oh man... I've played this scenario a gazzillion times over !

Lets see - depending on the amounts of course...

- Pay the church mortgage off
- Open a charity for cancer stricken sick/dying children / children that needed life saving operations
- Put ALOT of money into the bank for the future
- Pay off all of my familys (immediate) bill and give them $ to set aside for the future
- Trust funds for our kids with age increments for withdraws
- renovate the house and keep it

- Buy more land
- buy a mountain cabin and a place at the beach
- give money to our closest friends
- get an unlisted number
- hire a maid and a lawn care person *I hate cutting the lawn*

I'm not into flashy things and big expensive dinners, wines, etc... I'm just a plain jane type of girl. Money wouldnt change that - it would just make us more secure.
