If you won the lottery, what would you do with the $$$ ?

I would buy a huge farm in Wisconsin and load it with chickens and dairy cows. Then, I would buy a truck load of overalls so I could work on the farm. My family would live happily ever after,

living life as simply as posible. What ever money was left over, I would give to various charities (too many to list).

1) Buy a farm, of course! With just enough land, not too much. With a nice house and barn already there.

2) Build a bunch of different coops/pens...for the different breeds I want!

3) Get the chooks, horses, and maybe a few dairy goats...

4) pay off my car, and then buy a truck (an avalanch, to be exact!).

5) save the rest......if there was any left!!!!

Right now my first priority to spending the money would be to help out my DIL. Our GS was born in Sept 2008 with a defective heart. He is now on the heart transplant list and is at U.C.L.A. My DIL spends about 5 days a week at the hospital because he really needs his mommy there with him. She sleeps at the hospital because it is about an hour and a half from their Marine Base and they can't afford the travel gas nor a hotel room. There is a hotel about 5 mins from the hospital with monthly rates. $2950. That's what I would spend the money on.

BTW. She also has a 2 1/2 yo who is missing her Mommy very much too. I would find a way for GD to be there in LA with DIL.

I'd buy every friend a house or car they really wanted. I would pay my bills. I would donate and add to my church as they are small and could really use to be updated. I would move to a good area with nice people and enjoy it. Oh and get more chickens and maybe a few cattle.

First I would give as much as I could to fund research into Behcet's disease, my mother has suffered sine 1985. Then I would buy a home on an acercage, a HUGE acerage! I don't need a large home, just one I can build outbuildings on and keep as many dogs, chickens, horses, and other animals as I want. THEN... I would start a "bird of prey" rescue- weird, since I love chickens, but it has always been a dream of mine. Then I would prolly use the rest for food money and maintenence- maybe hire some "farmhands!!"
