So, the other night the wife makes meatloaf and potatoes <yawn> and... wait... what's this?

"IKEA Cream Sauce" ??? From a powder packet???

I tried it on my meatloaf... WOW

I tried it on my potatoes... WOW WOW

I was freakin' amazed at how good it was. Next time I'm gonna brown some ground beef and add it to the mix to put on rice and potatoes.

Edited to add: dont forget to get baby potatoes too, but IKEA doesnt sell those.

I just did a Google search on IKEA, out of curiosity.

I knew that Quebeck is way to small (if ya blink when you go through it, you'll miss it), but there aren't any stores at all in TN. I figured Nashville or Knoxville would atleast have one...nope, nil, nada.

to IKEA! We make a day out of going there! Lunch or dinner in the cafeteria, lots of shopping & FUN! Even the kids don't mind so much. The food isn't half bad either?!

Do you go to the one in Emeryville? It has the cool "Drop your kids off for an hour of free babysitting!" Kinda like a big romper room for them to play in. Plus, if they loose your kid you get a free sofa!
