Ill lethargic young cockrell

Hi Can anyone help??????? I have a 16 week cockrell who has become lethargic in the last hour and has been sitting in the middle of his field, fluffed up asleep.

I have moved him inside and put him under a heat lamp - but don' know what else to do.

Other hens seem ok.

Will he drink water at all? Or eat? Any thing else that you see to help give ideas of what's going on with him?

I am sorry for your loss. You must understand that chickens are iffy. They can be fine one minute and gone the next w/ no apparent reason. Please do not feel to badly. In a young bird it could be a great many of things.

Thanks - I know - but for some reason we have lost a few young cockrels reciently - yet touch lots of wood the hens are ok!
