illegal to buy light bulbs...

i had just heard today on news.."they" (( who is they ??)) are trying to make it illegal to buy the non-energy efficient light bulbs....i am in a so called pantic over the thought of this....i use the 90 and 100 wttg. bulbs instead of the 125 & 250 wattg. bulbs to keep chicks warm in brooder boxes...and to keep chill off cer+ain breeds in coop ..IF wha:t they are reporting on news is true and factial then i feel as if..(A)..my hatching days are coming to a end.(B) i am being forced..once again to buy a product i do not like or want (C)..sooner or later all our so called choices are being taken from us slowly but surely... will be writting complaint letters explaining my need for the less energy efficient bulbs for heat...prob. fall on deaf ears..but worth a shot in the dark ....first i have to find out who "they" are trying to make light bulbs illegal to buy ...
