Illinois...

I made a run to get chicken feed. I was down to one unopened bag and figured the crazies are going to go hoard it in fear feed stores wil close given the progression of the pandemic and mandated shelter-in-place. Sure enough, Farm & Fleet was sold out of the crumbled feed that was on sale. Between the sale and hysteria I am not sure which was the cause, but assuming a mix of both. I was able to get the pelleted feed though, which also had low stock btw. I also eas able top prepay at the sale price for three bags to pick up when it's back in stock. The lady said 3-6 days, which means the previous sick must have flew off the shelf right away.

To brighten things up, I couldn't resist the chirping coming from the chick bins...

Still have half a pallet in Ottawa of crumbles. I only grabbed 1 bag (truck is full of parts). Lol I grabbed chicks too mostly to keep my daughter busy and focused. Or that's what I tell myself at least.

I get mine from a farmer with a feed mill , if any one needs some let me know https://www.tamblynfamilyfarm.com/non-gmo-feeds
... I use 3 bags a week
Prices are not that bad, especially for the quality of the feed (based on description that is). Manteno is a ride, but not too bad. I actually have an aunt and uncle that live there and there's a restaurant in Bourbonnais just down the road that my family used to drive out too when I was younger and I think it's still there - it's named Coyote Canyon. Perhaps I'll drive down that way one day.

He mills it to order, doesn't have much sitting around. Yesterday was just 7 bags of turkey feed left after I picked up my 12.
but a feed store in peotone sells it so you could get it easier.

I currently have multi species and turkey if anyone needs a bag or a sample to try. It's best fed soaked since it's not a pellet or crumble. They like to pick the corn out.
