Illinois...

Just as I submitted the above post, I got a text from DS's school..... Tomorrow will be a remote learning day for all.
:lau
I expect DD's school will send a similar text soon.

In the midst of the snowstorm, I'm thinking spring.

I wonder if in the future, after covid, if snow days will be a thing of the past.

So cute, now I want to fire up the incubator lol

They already were before covid. Joliet high schools had just implemented e learning days for snow days....literally it passed the board 6 weeks before shutdown.

Your going to get 2x the snow as me...we will see if they are right
So far..... We got 4" last night. Felt every bit as I was digging out a path to the coop this morning. (Also have to sweep off the roof of the run extension in order to open it.) Thankfully all 4 of us worked together to clear the driveway. DH never found anyone to repair our snowblower. :(

We got a whopping ......wait for it.....

1 inch. Maybe 1 1/2 if im lucky. You can still see the green grass in some areas. So disappointed.

As much as I believe kids should be in school snow days are just as important. They are refreshing and a break that kids often need. I sure enjoyed them.

I had to help mom shovel the driveway on snow days when I was a kid. It's over 150 ft and has a turn around. I have a plow nowadays lol
