Hope all goes well tomorrow!I’ve been super busy with sick babies, an in law visit, and then getting our three year old ready for a procedure tomorrow morning so I had a lot of reading to do to catch up!
We haven’t found a home for the rooster. So maybe he’s just here nowOur little neighbor girl has been begging me to keep him and asked if she could name him tin can
she’s been asking a lot of questions lately through the fence and finally worked up the courage to ask if she could come over to see them. It was fun. She’s 8 and had a lot of questions. Her favorites are the silked white Easter eggers aside from the rooster. The littles aren’t so little any more. 16 weeks tomorrow and integrated well with the old gals. It seemed incredibly smooth actually. I’m still unsure about the lavender orp. It’s pretty darn developed now. The olive egger is starting to color up. But I know that we are getting into the they could be laying soon phase so maybe you guys will have a guess.
I was hoping to get my garden cleaned up and ready to actually use but I’m not sure it will get done this year. We are going to be replacing the deck so maybe just focus on the one project. But I miss having fresh produce with my fresh eggs.
For a really random question any one know of anything to help keep spiders off my coop? Pretty sure it’s impossible but this arachnophob
