Just noticed on CL today: Free chickens and coop. (Don't know anything about them.)

Flagged for removal.... Sometimes those are scams to get peeps to arrive,, and get robbed
I have Flagged items on Craig's when they are too good to be true. Then I see same item being advertised in another state like Colorado, with same pix.
Now,,, when post gets flagged,, its removed immediately. Times ago,,, flagged meant it would get reviewed by Craig's personnel, and then removed, or left on.

Putting FREE chickens on CL invites weirdos. (I made that mistake about 8 years ago.) Always have a price and maybe decide to give away after buyer has been screened.
* Edit to add: I have not had problems giving chickens to or trading eggs with BYC members. I feel that if someone is already on BYC and has a flock of chickens, then he/she probably knows something about keeping chickens.

If anybody enjoys canning like we do, Farm and Fleet in Romeoville has a ton of jars and other canning supplies in stock today. Walmart has been keeping stock too, but they go quick here in Plainfield.
Forgot to mention in my last post, I saw three wild turkeys near the Ozinga plant entrance on Airport across from the Lake Renwick Preserve.
