Hello BYCers from Illinois!

I will be visiting Chicago this Friday evening to next Monday morning.

Anybody in the area have any hatching eggs available?

Hi there!

I'm new the world of chickens. My husband and I recently moved onto three acres in the country, south of Kankakee, north of Chebanse. I grew up with horses among other things, but never chickens. I'm really excited to design my coop over the winter and pick up some chicks next April!

Yeah, i'm not sure about that. Following is from the County Code:


37-403.5: USES NOT SPECIFICALLY PERMITTED IN DISTRICT/PROHIBITED:

Except as hereinafter provided, when a use, building and/or structure is not specifically listed as a permitted or conditional use in any specific zoning district, such use, building and/or structure shall be expressly prohibited.

Yeah, i'm not sure about that. Following is from the County Code:
