My Chocolate Cuckoo Orpingtons have arrived. Even though the seller got the short end of the stick, however he was still very nice to send me two chocs as extras. I will take some pics tomorrow. Here are pics of one of the chocs. I did not know they even have chocolate legs and feet. I felt like tasting theme

It is crazy. They are starting to out grow the brooder. I had a few fly out this morning.

Rocky raccoon visited my coop last night before I got a chance to lock up.

. Took 2 banties for his dinner.

Im sorry for your lost chickens. That is so sad. Can i ask what time did this occur? Maybe i should get out and lock my coop up earlier.

IT HAPPENED JUST AS IT TURNED DARK. I went to lock the girls up and came upon the crime scene. Saw Rocky running off with the carcass. Lost Shannon and Cotton. Both banties. Old English game hen and Serama cochin mix. Now I'm down to 5 gals. They were about 5 and 7 years old. Sometimes I loose track of exact age but I'm close. Give or take.
