?Test? Well I am very upset, I had to open the incubator to see if I could still hear chirping. 3 eggs pipping at the wrong end, and already lost a chick. So sad, I should have opened that incubator this am. Kicking myself!

I edited that post to add stuff. You can read all my disappointments! lol. However, while I was typing, another Legbar hatched.

Interestingly the Orpingtons pipped 10 hrs before the Legbars and have still not hatched. I think I will never try to hatch shipped Orpington eggs again. I might be blaming my hatcher for no reason.

They are BEAUTIFUL and pretty big.

How old are they? Hopefully the orp eggs are just slower going, Its soooooo disappointing, when you lose them at hatch time.

They are going to be 2 weeks old on Monday.

I hope, they do hatch in the end. While we were exchanging messages, one Mauve which I never even saw pip hatched and surprised me. So I guess there is hope till end of Day 22. Fingers crossed!

I know its 21 days but, I read someplace that if you set the eggs on a Sunday, they will hatch on a Sunday, even though Saturday is day 21 and for the most part, it has pretty much worked that way for me. A couple start earlier, but I think its because of the hot spots in this big incubator. Don't give up hope yet.

I actually set my eggs on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Thats why I am worried. Good news is that the chick I helped has gotten out of the plastic bowl and is moving around. If he survives and is healthy, he/she will be very dear to me.

Sweeeet! I was off on the count big time, at first I thought you had 5, then did a quick look at your pics and thought I counted 6. 8 would cost you about $360, so lets say, $275.00
