Illinois...

Since coccidiosis seems very prevalent right now. I found an egg with blood on it. A lot of their poop looks very runny. No blood in poop as I can see but like I said runny and a bit tar like.

Blood on an egg could mean the hen had to strain getting the egg out.

I get bloody eggs every so often. I believe it's a popped blood vessels when laying.
When they drink a lot of water they get runny poop

Yes, my tears are all dried up for now. I also thought it was a done deal. Then I found out that it had to go before the Council tonight. I ended up with 3 Ameuricana chicks. 10 weeks old today. Got rid of the rooster. Drove him down to Effingham to a very nice lady there. I've worked so hard on the coop and run making it bomb proof!!!! Now I'll year it all down. All the money I've spent and love given all gone. I'm numb.
I'm so, so sorry! I live in Bloomington IL too. I saw an article about you and was FURIOUS. I've already contacted the council members. Wish I knew about this earlier. Hugs.

Anyone interested in a 8 week old Silver Lakenvelder rooster? We were given him as a "surprise chick" from the hatchery and I can't keep roosters within the city limits. So sad to see him go :( I'm located in Bloomington IL.

He is the one that gifted me with the Japanese Bantam around Christmas time.
And I SMOKED him with the Sam's Rotisserie in return.
Here is a quick jump to that story.
