Ive planted a squirrel food plot

List the plants that you planted. sounds very interesting. I do feed my pet squirrels. BOSS.. I just call them my pets,, they are regular wild bunch.

people say they are looking for water when they eat those..... I have water out for the chickens that they drink and they still eat the tomatoes. I see cherry tomatoes traveling through the trees lol

Another vat of pie filling tonight. My fingers seem to be stained red. After picking the easy to reach cherries, we’ve accumulated 93.7 lbs. A new record!!!!
But wait- There’s MORE! We pulled out a ladder and will try picking the high ones this week.

Several visitors have been recruited to help pick. Payment in cherries. I only ask that we get a weight to add to our harvest data and a photo of what was made with the cherries.

I’m pitting and freezing most but also cooking some sauces and pie filling to freeze. If anyone local wants some “pick your own cherries” please send me a PM

The chucks and poults are in their new home finally! I still need to put a liner on the floor - using my old EPDM pond liner - and need to finish building the overhang in the front, shingle the roof, run hardware cloth around the bottom, put up trim, and paint. It's secure though and has all the comforts the birds need except a run and dust bath. Stay tuned for those additions.
