Decorating the chicken coop!

I'm making plywood cut outs of chickens and chicks for the kids to paint. We'll put the chickens names on them and hang them either in the coop or the run. A bit of fun to get the kids reinvigorated for Spring and reignite an interest in their chicken pets. The kids are young still and lose interest over the winter months when they don't see the chickens as often...

I wonder if more people will be getting into chickens this year.....

So many people say to me, "It must be so nice to get all those FREE eggs." :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau
Yes I tell those people it costs 33 cents an egg for feed. Mine don't lay year around but they eat

I need to get them done... crazy busy with work lately. I started this and then had to get a new blade for the band saw. Now there's for cutouts done and piece of plywood waiting for the remaining four. That's the way it goes though...
