I'm in Johnston City, just north of Marion.

We got some Rural King Pullets Easter and then a bunch from Craig's List. We also have a gaggle of mutt ducks and pot belly pigs. We have 8 dairy goats and a cow. Oh, and we have 3 jennies and a jack!

Yeah, i'm not sure about that. Following is from the County Code:

37-403.5: USES NOT SPECIFICALLY PERMITTED IN DISTRICT/PROHIBITED:

Except as hereinafter provided, when a use, building and/or structure is not specifically listed as a permitted or conditional use in any specific zoning district, such use, building and/or structure shall be expressly prohibited.

Darn, have you tried calling the zoning office to see if your allowed to?

not yet. partially because i suspect i know what the answer will be, partially because i don't want to raise any flags and partially because i am going to do it anyway. i guess i should call so i know whether i need to be covert about it or not...

If you're not a part of a HOA, then it is sometimes better to ask for forgiveness then ask for permission .....

Just saying.

If they want to raise a fuss, then let them do the research and legwork and show you where it says you can't instead of you trying to prove you can.

Ignorance is bliss

I was wondering if anyone had experience selling eggs with the Egg handling license. I am wondering about how you go about grading the eggs that you sell.
