It's a good possibility that she's a mix because although she looks 100% what they're showing for brown leghorn, she's minus the extremely visible bright white lobe. The 4th ones mane looks almost identical, except there are white streaks of color down the center. The pic is a bit misleading, but that's the best I could do after 30 minutes of trying to get them to pose for me! lol

Knowing what I know now, I'll be back to the auction Thursday to TRY and get a rooster this time. Maybe it'll calm the ladies down a bit!

Thank all of you for saying they're beautiful! They truly are in my book! Even the raggedy bare neck dominant hen who just a few minutes ago discovered her voice echoed.. -_- lol

100% sure they are chickens, and same percentage on hens. Sirbirdaholic is wrong. They are not transgender ducks.

Yeah, after further investigation and having pics of mine in front of me now for instant comparison, I agree with this. It looks totally like a brown leghorn in feather color and pattern, but the head size to body ratio is small and also there is a total lack of neck bend. It makes sense that they both are the same breed as their cages were side by side. It's quite possible they are full grown as his other stock appeared to be on the over-the-hill side. Oh well. They're nice additions none the less and my coop is only about 1/2 full now anyways. I can already see adding on to it this summer.. lol
